Cincinnati Day 8

It's official. Kyle gets discharged tomorrow! It will be nine days in the hospital. Then we wait around Cincinnati till Saturday, then home. Kyle is still doing well. He is a little grumpy today but who can blame him? I asked for a GI consult for his eosiniphillic allergies and CSID. Its in process and the preliminary thinking if that these diagnoses likely won't clear totally even with the Hirschsprungs repair due to the immunologic involvement. That sounds right to me. Not as wonderful as "this surgery fixing it all", but more accurate. Either way, I just want to have a realistic expectation for the future diet.

Nothing else really to report. We are both ready to get home. Kyle has enough energy to be a little bored but not sleep. Foiled my plans for a nap! Sigh. So we are back in the play room playing pool!
