Cincinnati Day 4

Kyle had a good day today. He walked three times. The first time he hated it and only took a few steps. The second and third times he whined but walked about 20 feet. We went for two wheel chair rides. He enjoyed those.

He is moving around more. He is still not using his right arm because it has the PIC line. He's signing one handed which is pretty cute. He still is clinging to his cars blanket. He got a prize for walking which was a new Mac truck with tiny squigie car characters from the movie. He loved it and held it all the rest of the day. He also played the iPad for hours. He's really amazing to watch manipulate the different apps.

He is sleeping peacefully now - hopefully all night. We hope tomorrow he might be able to start drinking a little.

I'm doing great. Alans been sleeping at the hospital and I've been going back to the hotel. I feels little selfish because I'm not keeping a day and night vigil at the bedside, but at the same time it feels great! I only have two more nights of this then Alan has to go home. But I think I'll have enough reserves to get through once he leaves. Kyle is loving having his Dad here. Its quite positive so far.

All in all it's been a nice quiet day. I talked a lot with the kids, grandparents and my sisters. I've actually enjoyed it.

Spring
